MADURA SANKAR S
"My background in data analytics means I design with the data, not just around it. A fundamentally different kind of product thinking."
FROM DATA
TO DESIGN
I started in data analytics, building fluency in forecasting models and large-scale reporting. The pivot to product design came from a simple realization: generating insight is only half the problem. The harder work is communicating it clearly enough that people can act.

How Do I think?!
Complex data shouldn't require a PhD to interpret. My job is to make the right decision obvious.
I specialise in the intersection of analytics systems and human decision-making. My data foundation gives me fluency in dashboards, KPI hierarchies, and reporting pipelines — so I design with the data, not just around it.
DATA-FIRST THINKING
Understand the data model, its signals, grain, and limits before shaping the interface.
DESIGNING FOR DECISIONS
A dashboard is not the goal. Every layout choice is evaluated by whether it makes the right action obvious.
CLEAR HIERARCHY
Surface what belongs above the fold, make drill-downs clear, and never make senior stakeholders scroll to find the signal.
SIMPLIFYING COMPLEX SYSTEMS
Translate dense data architectures into familiar mental models that match how analysts and executives actually think.
COLLABORATION ACROSS FUNCTIONS
Partner closely with data engineers, PMs, and stakeholders; align on metrics before a wireframe is ever drawn.
BUSINESS IMPACT AS NORTH STAR
Trace every design decision to an outcome: reduced reporting effort, faster decisions, and better spend efficiency.
